• Point your phone's WAP browser at http://www.pooosh.mobi click on ‘Install Pooosh’.
• Choose the Pooosh version best suited to your phone. If you want you can check your phone compatibility, click here or go to our Help section for more answers to your queries.
• Click on the version you wish to select i.e. Pooosh (full Java version)
• A text bubble will then pop up asking you whether you want to download - Click Yes
• The download will begin and once completed you will have joined the amazing world of Pooosh.
• To begin Poooshing, click on the Pooosh icon on your phone’s desktop or go to your applications folder and click on the icon
• Agree to the standard terms and conditions by clicking Yes
• Then enter your details
• Then scroll back up to your Pooosh user name and press OK
• A question will then pop up asking you to allow Pooosh to use your network Press Yes
• Select a network access point from the list that pops up e.g. MTN GPRS; based on the cellular network to which you subscribe.
• Pooosh will then install and ask you to register a few optional details
• Enter these details if you wish and then press OK - your info will automatically update and you will then be asked to enter your activation PIN which will have been SMSed to you.
• Retrieve the PIN - type it in and press OK
• A box will pop up asking you to allow Pooosh to use your network. Press OK.
• Select your network access point from the list based on the cellular network to which you subscribe e.g. MTN GPRS
• Pooosh will then test your network and you will be loaded up and ready for action.

• Open the SMS invite you have received in your inbox. Log onto the http:// address as provided.
• Follow the process as detailed in Loading Up - Online.

• Once you have added your contacts scroll up to Voice Chat and click on this option
• A text box will pop up asking you for permission to use camera or audio application. Click Yes
• Record your message and press Send. It is as easy as that!
• Or scroll to: Messenger - click on and select a contact
• Select what you want to do with this contact from the menu - Chat, SMS, Send File, Call contact, Make call and follow the prompt
• Or scroll to: Chat rooms - click on and the chat room will load up for you to chat away
• Or scroll to: Call back - click on and enter the details and a call back request will be sent out.
• Or scroll to: SMS - click on and select one of the menu options and follow the prompts - SMS contact, New SMS, Credit balance (to check your available off-net SMS), Top Up (to top up your off-net SMS credit)
• Or scroll to: Email - click on and then select a contact, click write and send the mail.
• Or scroll to: Inbox - click on and select a message and then select a menu option - Open, Reply, Delete, Delete multiple and follow the prompt.

• In order to use the full range of exciting Pooosh applications, you will need to load your contacts.
• Scroll down to contacts.
• If you have not added any contacts you will be prompted to search for contacts or to see which of your friends are Poooshers.
• Click on the option key and then Yes
• Then enter your friend’s name and mobile number and click submit.
• A list will then pop up with the results
• Select your new contact(s) and click add - they will then be added to your Pooosh contact list
• Your contacts will then be displayed on the screen with an icon to the left of the contact name.
• Invite a friend: You should also invite all your friends and family to join Pooosh and you can do this simply by scrolling to the SMS option on the Pooosh main menu - click on and scroll down to the Invite a friend option - click on again - add your friend’s mobile number; select whether you want your details to be included in the invite and then simply press send - it is as easy as that! Your friend will receive an SMS from you inviting him to join the fantastic world of Pooosh.
• A small icon will appear on the left hand side of the names of your contacts if the icon looks like this it means that the contact is not currently logged onto the Pooosh network at which point you can send them a half price, off-net SMS to do so.
• If the icon looks like this it means that the contact is logged on and you can send them free voice SMSes, text messages etc.

MEMBERSHIP, RECHARGE AND CANCELLATIONS

1. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree to all our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase.
2. MEMBERSHIP, SUBSCRIPTION AND CANCELLATIONS
1. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, "Pooosh" means Pooosh Europe, any of its subsidiaries, agents or local distributors worldwide including but not limited to any distributor or licensee in the your country. By making use of the Pooosh software, you hereby agree that a binding contract is formed between yourself and the parties referred to in this clause 2.1.
2. Pooosh-to-Pooosh communications - with the exclusion of Voice Chat functionality (see point 3 below) - are free when both the initiating and receiving parties make use of the Pooosh software to initiate and receive such communications. When you communicate with any third party including but not limited to a Pooosh who is not using the Pooosh software, such communication is not a Pooosh-to-Pooosh communication and you will be required to pay our standard rates to forward the communication to the receiving party's number. Pooosh reserves the right to increase its standard rates from time to time for a communication to any destination and may vary its charges from time to time and without prior notice to you.
3. Beyond an initial 25 free Voice Chat message credit awarded to you on registration of your new Pooosh account, Pooosh Voice Chat is available only as a component of “Unlimited Pooosh” one day, three day, one week or one month recharge tranches. These are purchasable by you using Pooosh’s premium SMS based recharge process - the cost of which will be debited directly off your network airtime account. On recharging your Pooosh account with a specified Pooosh Unlimited pre-paid time tranche, you can send as many Pooosh Voice Chat messages to another Pooosh user as you want within the specified time period. Pooosh reserves the right to change the recharge rates from time to time without prior notice to you.
4. You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur on your Pooosh account and you shall be strictly liable for all charges debited against your account whether or not these charges are incurred by you or any other person, authorised or unauthorised, intentionally or unintentionally, or as a result of any virus, hack or security breach.
5. Pooosh may change the recharge pricing, options, renewal terms or Member services at any time. The Member may cancel their Membership at any time. .
3. RESPONSIBLE USE OF POOSH SOFTWARE
1. You agree not to use the Software or any Pooosh service for communications that are inter alia defamatory, pornographic, an invasion of privacy, obscene, abusive, illegal, racist, offensive, harmful to a minor or an infringement on any intellectual property rights of a third party or would otherwise violate the rights of any third party. It will be at Pooosh's sole discretion to delete content if so deemed. Pooosh does not warrant the suitability of a member's private photos nor will we become involved in correspondence regarding their suitability.
2. You agree to indemnify and hold Pooosh, its affiliates, strategic partners and third party service providers and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents harmless from any claim or demand, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you communicate or receive using the Software or any Pooosh service. You agree that Pooosh may intercept any communication to which you are a party in order to comply with any legal obligation to which Pooosh may be subject or for any other lawful purpose.
3. You acknowledge that by using Pooosh and accessing our third-party links you may be exposed to content that is of an adult nature or is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Pooosh is not responsible for any such content and you must use your own discretion in whether or not you may suffer harm as a result of access to this content.
4. In consideration of your use of Pooosh, you agree to: (a) provide accurate, current, and complete information about you as may be prompted by a registration form on Pooosh (the "Registration Data"); (b) maintain the security of your password and identification; (c) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data, and any information you provide to Pooosh, to keep it accurate, current and complete; and (d) accept all risks of unauthorized access to information and Registration Data. You have sole responsibility for adequate protection and backup of data and/or equipment used in connection with Pooosh.
5. You agree that you will not use Pooosh to: (a) transmit spam, bulk or unsolicited communications; (b) pretend to be Pooosh or someone else, (c) misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; (d) disrupt the normal flow of dialogue or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users' ability to use Pooosh; (e) engage in activities that would violate any fiduciary relationship, any applicable local, state, national or international law, or any regulations having the force of law, including but not limited to attempting to compromise the security of any networked account or site, operating an illegal lottery or gambling operation, stalking, or making threats of harm; or (f) collect or store personal data about other users unless specifically authorised by such users.
4. EVOLUTION AND THE NEED FOR FLEXIBILITY
1. Some handsets, services or networks may not yet be supported by Pooosh at the time of their launch.
2. Certain Network Operators may not have key coverage in place in all areas.
3. The Internet in general and the GSM Network in particular are rapidly evolving and Pooosh is in constant development. Pooosh reserves the right to withdraw, update or change these Terms or our Privacy Policy at any time. If you do continue to use Pooosh after a change to the Terms or the Privacy Policy you shall be deemed to have agreed to the relevant variation.
4. Over time Pooosh intends to expand the services that you are offered. When a new service is introduced

6. Pooosh may set maximum limits or storage duration for the numbers or sizes of SMS / E-Mail messages, postings or other uploaded content stored or sent. These limits may vary over time without notice to you.
5. DELIVERY
1. When you first register on Pooosh you will be sent a PIN number to your phone via traditional SMS. To proceed with your registration process you must insert the PIN number to your phone in the place indicated during your registration process.
2. Once a payment is made your Pooosh subscription will automatically be updated to your phone, with a message to your Pooosh inbox indicating your new subscription expiry date and or any SMS bundles or Call Back time you may have purchased.
3. All future purchases will be confirmed with a message from Pooosh Admin to your Pooosh inbox with your expiry date and or credit passed to your account once funds are confirmed received.
4. Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.
6. PAYMENT OPTIONS AND PRICING
1. All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).
2. Your total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax and delivery to your phone.
7. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
1. Pooosh accepts MasterCard and Visa credit cards.

1. Pooosh may link you to websites, WAP sites, Content Providers, Service Providers and Network Operators and information located worldwide throughout the Internet. Because Pooosh has no control over such sites and information, Pooosh offers no guarantee for such sites and information with regard to the accuracy, currency, content, or quality of any such sites and information.
2. Pooosh reserves the right in its absolute discretion to alter, modify, upgrade, update, suspend or withdraw Pooosh or any part hereof at any time.
3. You are entirely responsible for all content that you access, upload, post, email or otherwise transmit via Pooosh.
4. You may not publish content that directly or indirectly alludes to child pornography or attempts to solicit communication with or on behalf of any minor/s.
5. Pooosh has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. Pooosh may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that it deems appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website). Whilst Pooosh reserves the right to delete or remove content deemed offensive by Pooosh, Pooosh does not guarantee that offensive material will be removed or deleted. Failure by Pooosh to remove or delete offensive content does not waive our right to remove or delete offensive content in subsequent or similar cases.
6. You may not publish content that contains advertising or commercial messages. You may not send messages of a commercial nature to other members via the site.

1. Pooosh is a communications platform and as such, your information will not be held private unless you elect for such information to be made private by choosing the appropriate options when subscribing for the Pooosh software and entering your personal information into Pooosh.

3. Pooosh collects information in several ways. Some personal information (such as a name, mobile number and e-mail address) is gathered when you register for the services, and more detailed information is collected for specific purposes. When you are in a section of Pooosh and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with Pooosh, its divisions and/or its third party service providers unless it is specifically stated otherwise.
4. Please be aware that Pooosh advertisers that have links on our site may collect personally identifiable information about you. The information practices of those websites are not covered by this privacy statement.
5. Pooosh may send marketing information to users via SMS, MMS or email to inform users of new products and services. Messages are based on previous purchases of Pooosh products. Users wishing not to receive these messages should send the words "STOP SMS".
11. SECURITY POLICY
1. Virtual Card Services process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site's registered domain name are checked and verified by Thawte, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential information.
2. Virtual Card Services is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Services Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
3. The Merchant does not have access to credit details.

In particular we make no warranty that the Services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, complete, timely, secure or error free. We will only entertain requests for exchanges, returns and/or refunds at our discretion. Errors will be billed in full. By using Pooosh Services you indemnify and hold us harmless against all or any loss, liability, actions, suites, proceedings, costs, demands and damages of all and every kind (including direct, indirect special or consequential damages) and whether in action based on contract, negligence or any other action, arising out of or in connection with failure or delay in performance of the Services offered or the use of said Services.
13. SEVERABILITY
1. If any provision of the Terms is held to be illegal or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed severable from and shall in no way affect or impair the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
14. HARASSMENT AND DISPUTES
1. You may not harass any Member and agree to cease contacting any other Member who has requested you to cease. Should you wish you have the option to 'block' any Member by selecting the appropriate option on their profile. 'Blocked' Members will not be able to contact you via the site.
2. Pooosh will not become involved in any disputes between Members and does not provide any arbitration or settlement services should a dispute arise between members.
3. You alone are responsible for ensuring that your interaction with other Members is lawful. Pooosh advises you that there may be risks of dealing with Members acting under false pretences or with criminal intent.
4. Pooosh cannot control what happens between members once they decide to meet in person, however should you encounter behaviour that may be deemed harmful to other Members you are requested to contact Pooosh with full details and we may, if deemed appropriate at the sole discretion of Pooosh, warn, suspend or delete the offending member's profile. Please note, Pooosh has no intent or interest in getting involved in domestic or private disputes between Members.
15. WHOLE AGREEMENT AND GOVERNING LAW
1. These terms and conditions constitute the whole agreement between yourself and Pooosh in relation to the subject matter contained herein and Pooosh reserves the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these terms and conditions from time to time by posting such amended terms on its website, http://www.pooosh.net upon which publication, such amended terms and conditions will be deemed to form part of and/or to have amended these terms and conditions. It is the user's obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The user's continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the user's acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.
2. The law of the Netherlands governs any action in relation to these terms and conditions and/or your use of the website. In this regard, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Hague.
16. CONSENT
1. The user understands that all the designs and trademarks are registered to Pooosh and hereby accept the terms and conditions. The user undertakes not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understands the legal implications thereof. Should the user be found to be in violation of this agreement the user understands that the user will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Pooosh for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against the user.
